Liquid Shredder Fun 7′5″ Funboard Soft Surfboard-

COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM: AQUA, BLUE, RED, YELLOW (we will contact you immediately reguarding your choice of colors!)
First, They are real surfboards with a softer surface, but not super soft, to make it user friendly but they look just like a fiberglass surfboard. Most beginners and kids surfboards are very poorly shaped. This effects the way they perform in the surf, making them hard to turn. Surfing is ALL about maneuvering and turning on the waves. A poorly shaped surfboard can’t turn well.

Second, All original Liquid Shredders have full length solid Peruvian hard wood stringers for strength. Surfboards should be rigid and not flex too much. Many of the old technology “sponge” beginner surfboards and kids surfboards bend in the middle as the rider moves on them. This slows the surfboard and makes for an unstable platform for the rider to stand on. NEVER buy a surf board without a wooden stringer system. Surfboards with weak stringers break easily, even in small surf.

Third, Until Liquid Shredder entered the market in 1999, beginner boards were very expensive. In fact, they cost as much as custom fiberglass boards with $500-$1000 retail prices. Liquid Shredder ® hit the market starting at $159. Now you can own a surfboard for beginners and kids that looks and performs like a custom fiberglass board with the added safety of being soft and priced right. Cheap in cost, never in quality!

Fourth, Liquid Shredder is “Made in Peru Where Surfing Was Invented” by Surfers for Surfers . Peru has some of the best surf and surfers in the world. The Beach Boys even mention Peru in their song “Surfin’ Safari”. That’s why every Liquid Shredder model is designed, developed and tested on the Coast of Peru in some of the best and largest surf in the World. Join the Liquid Shredder team and start Shreddin’.

CMac ATB Stand Up Paddle Board

$1,549.95

Designed by Dave Parmenter in cooperation with Charlie MacArthur (C-Mac), part surfboard, part whitewater kayak, part skateboard, the C4 Waterman C-Mac ATB is the first stand-up surfboard exclusively designed for training, cruising; as well as creative and radical hot-dogging in the new but growing sport of stand-up whitewater paddling. And of course it is a great performer on ocean waves too. New ground is broken every day at C4 Waterman.C4 WATERMAN ATB Mac Pro 10′6′ Stand Up Paddle Board is an innovative design that allows the paddler stability and speed, but also allows the whitewater paddler to make fast turns, allowing for lots of maneuverability to avoid obstacles in the river. Furthermore, the steep rails and twin-edged bottom chine lessen drag and prevent water from climbing up onto the deck when the rail is across the current, always a dicey position for a surfboard-type craft in rapids.DESIGN NOTES: The 10′6″ ATB incorporates the proven design components of the 10-6, with extra tail rocker to help manage the downstream flow of a river.*****BOARDS COME IN ASSORTED COLORS*****Click here to read The CKS Product Review Blog for more information on this item.

Bounce Board, Cameo

$83.78

The trampoline board that won’t rip the surface of trampolines!Bounce Board is constructed with closed cell foam which is strong and flexible with great shock absorption. The only trampoline board that won’t rip the surface of trampolines and it’s super-lightweight and buoyant. Body surfers in Hawaii use a similar foam to ride the waves because it stands slamming against the ocean floor. Our material is more costly than other foams but it will hold up better. Closed cells are great for practicing snow, wake, kite and skate moves on a water trampoline too.Designed for kids 8-18 years old, but older “children” will love Bounceboard too.The softer choice to practice snowboard and wakeboard tricks. This is one case where warp in a board is good. Bounce Board flexes with the trampoline but will return to it’s original shape. “Ultimate” – 8′6″ Mini Longboard

$430.00

The mini-longboard is essentially a smaller version of the legendary longboard which dates back to the beginning of surfing history. Much like the longboard, the mini-longboard is known for its stable design. The stability is gained by its wide shape, length, and thickness of this board, making it ideal to learn on and makes catching even the smallest of waves, even the ripples, a piece of cake.Perfect for any skill level and a must have surfboard for your quiver at all times. Great for small-medium wave days, and for teaching friends to surf.We decided to call this mini longboard the “Ultimate” because of its unique ability to combine so many elements of a great longboard. It’s super stable, turns great, and paddles like a race car, it truly is the very best mini longboard we’ve ever ridden. The Stable Surf System is what makes this mini longboard so unique. It starts with a full single-to-double concave that allows this longboard to paddle and glide super easy. This is essential to catching waves as you need to match your board speed with the wave speed for easy take offs. The cornerstone however, is the beveled rails that stretch from the nose to the tail. This is what makes this surfboard one of the best longboards I’ve ever ridden. The most common “turning error” is digging a rail (side) into the wave and getting stuck and unable to bring the board around on a turn. The bevels actually pull the rails up and away from the water preventing the rails from catching on a turn and allowing for the easiest turns you’ve ever made on a longboard.Designed with a 2+1 FCS compatible fin system for optimal steering and maneuverability. The large fin in the middle acts like the keel of a sailboat, providing stability while the two small side fins aid in making killer turns.Epoxy construction gives you a strong platform that is ding resistant, while staying lighter than your traditional construction, keeping you floating great and paddling fast.

Surftech Rusty Pro Ject Surfboard

Surftech uses a virtually waterproof core in the Rusty Pro Ject Surfboard, so your session continues when other riders call it a day. The secret is outits the Tuflite (fused cell expanded polystyrene, or FEPS) core. Unlike EPS, the most commonly used cores in surfboards and cheap coolers, Tuflite nearly eliminates the possibility of the core absorbing water when you crack the shell. Not only that, this memory foam has insane rebound to give you solid response as well as minimal ding damagemaybe you should trade your mattress for FEPS foam. When it comes to the ride, the rounded full tails low rocker and slight concave is the ideal complement to the deep concave throughout and serious rocker in the nose of the board.Product FeaturesLength: 5ft 11in (180cm); 6ft 1in (185); 6ft 3in (190.5cm) Nose: [6ft 1in] 10.82in (27.48cm) Center: [6ft 1in] 18.25in (46.36cm) Tail: [6ft 1in] 13.87in (35.23cm) Thickness: [6ft 1in] 2.06in (5.23cm) Construction: Tuflite Fins: Future Recommended Use: Effin surfinManufacturer Warranty: 1 Year

One Response to “How much will the cost go down for surfboards?”

  1. All traditional board manufacturers have been feeling the pinch for the past 3-4 years. You see the mass-produced boards from China, and boards from Taiwan, in retail shops all over, and at prices $200 to $300 less then custom boards made in the US.

Since there are a number of shaping machines in China now, several name manufacturers are having some of their boards made there and then shipped here to sell. These boards are sold under the same label, but usually about $200 less then the US boards. I had a chance to ride a longboard almost identical to my custom board but 2″ longer and produced in China based on the template sent there. It felt different but still performed almost the same. I personally prefer my custom boards.

Most manufacturers have the opinion that there will always be a market for custom made boards tailored to the surfers individual needs. Unfortunately, the price of these boards will continue to increase with labor and material costs. However, for beginners and those who aren’t skilled enough to feel the slight differences between the custom board and a similar (but not made to fit) board, the foreign mass-produced boards will continue to gain market share.
