If I’m not mistaken, surfboard wax is carnauba-based. Try using a suntan lotion with coconut oil on it. or, if you have access to a well-stocked kitchen, get some coconut oil and rub it in. This is good enough to get tar out of bathing suits, so I figure it will work with surfboard wax.

this is’t a joke it really works ,WD-40. spray it right on the spots and then wash right away in warm water and tide
If you have a bunch of regular copy paper (newspaper works too, it is just harder to see the wax coming up) and an iron this will work for bathing suits and carpet. Just don’t get your iron too hot or it will melt the material.
Turn your iron on low. Put a piece of paper over the wax spot. Run the iron over it. You will see the wax dissolve into the paper. Get a new piece of paper and do it again and again until the paper comes away without any wax on it.
