There are many types of surfboard fin systems to choose from. Choosing the one that you want is an important part of choosing your surfboard. Fin characteristics as well as the brand of fin system are to be considered.
Most surfboards today come with the removable, as opposed to glassed-in, type of fin. Most brands do not have cross compatible boxes. Boxes are the devices that hold the fin on the surfboard. I’m looking for a surfboard bag to fit my santa cruz pumpkin seed… it’s 5′8″ and 19″ wide. I recently got a fcs explorer bag bug it just barely would not fit and i had to ship it back. Anyone know of a good strong “Travel” bag that will fit it.
(not looking for a day bag for easy carrying, looking for something more for travel and trips for better board protection)
Thanks.
